High Performance Alloys (Superalloys)

The name "superalloy" or "high-performance alloy" refers to metals that have been developed to withstand high temperatures without deforming (including creep) or corroding. They usually have high proportions of refractory alloying agents such as nickel and cobalt. Κey characteristics of superalloys include excellent mechanical strength, resistance to thermal creep deformation, good surface stability, and resistance to corrosion or oxidation. The development of superalloys has primarily been driven by the aerospace (75% of superalloys are used in aerospace applications) and power industries. There are three major classes of superalloys (nickel, iron, and cobalt based alloys) which are offered under registered trademarks of their respective developers, e.g. Inconel®, Hastelloy®, Monel®, Incoloy®, Waspaloy®, Merl® for nickel based, Astroloy® for iron based and Hiperco®, Stellite®, HS-21® or Haynes® for cobalt based alloys.

A range of products from superalloys  in different shapes (sheets and plates, strips, bars/rods, tubes, wires, etc.) are offered as OEM parts but also under our own labelled (AVIATIONEU NEW ERA) product portfolio. They are designed for use in numerours demanding applications in aerospace, power, marine, automotive and other industrial sectors. Sourced from quality producrs, they meet different specifications and can be supplied in pre-cut or cut-to-oder dimensions. Sold in pieces or kilograms depending on the wanted order quantity and requirements.
