Our new Web Platform for Supplies & Services (shop.aviationeu.supplies) has been restructured and updated to serve a dual ecommerce & informational/learning role.
Building on the capabilities and successful performance of our preceding PrestaShop based platform (ecommerce.aviationeu.supplies), the flexibility and scalability of Drupal content management system (CMS) and additional functionality by our development team, we have developed a new unified platform:
- to support sales of our extensive and continuously expanding portfolio of aviation & industrial products and services, and
- to create and provide our customers and other target groups with rich digital content on these materials and products through our Resource Repository, enhancing familiarisation & supporting decision-making for their procurement and use. This content is equally useful for many different user groups, from procuurement specialists, MRO technicians and design engineers to researchers & academics in support of their work.
Our new Web Platform:
- supports the management of products and their inventories, providing users with significant information in Greek and English languages on their attributes, reference prices and currencies, applicable taxes, minimum order quantities bulk order discounts, and much more,
- supports electronic order placement, payment options through wire transfer & credit cards as well as order progress monitoring,
- links to our Resource Repository for comprehensive information on offered materials & products to facilitate decision making from prospective buyers. These resources offer capability for further research through media files on product features, complying standards, product reviews, catalogs and so on. Access to ourResource Repository is offered free of charge to all our active customers and on a subscription basis to all other interested users.
- integrates our Group pricing and customer support policies with priority in corporate clients/industrial buyers and their sourcing needs,
All the above are combined with:
- a wide range of products and services from an extensive list of suppliers worldwide, including our own AVIATIONEU NEW ERA product lines offered as quality, competitively priced alternatives to OEM products,
- our pre-sale and post-sale technical support,
- our significant knowledge & experience on exports (for non-EU customers),
- our competitive prices, and discounts based on bulk order quantities or our customer loyalty & promotion program discounts
- warehouse pick-up or flexible shipping solutions including partial shipments to meet production schedules.
During a transition period both ecommerce.aviationeu.supplies and shop.aviationeu.supplies will remain in operation but price and content updates will be effected on the second. User account data will be migrated to our new web platform allowing registered users to exploit platform capabilities.
